College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS)

The mission of CFANS is to enhance the University’s potential to become one of the premier research institutions in the world dedicated to food systems, environmental science, renewable resources, and policy, consistent with the University’s goal to become one of the top three public research universities in the world. The focus of CFANS is to enhance the University’s natural biological and social science contributions to the environment, production agriculture, human health, food systems, and natural resources. The college offers outstanding programs, provides exemplary teaching and student services, and constantly strives for continuous improvements in all aspects of the university educational experience.
